Hi Everyone, thanks for visiting my site!

So a little bit about me - I have been working and teaching in the horticulture industry for almost 20 years and have had the pleasure of teaching at wonderful gardens like the

Trinity College Dublin Botanic Garden!

These days, I teach at Pearse College of Further Education where I deliver QQI  Level 5 and 6 certificates in Horticulture. When I'm not teaching I am kept chasing a curious 3 year old and in the past have worked as a freelance garden designer and garden writer. I have regularly contributed to the RHSI Journal and of course my own regular blog.

I have earned my stripes with a  B.Sc. in Horticulture from the National Botanic Gardens and an M.Sc. through research in Botany from Trinity College Dublin.

Some of the gardens I have had the privilege of working in include:

  • Lodge Park Walled Garden, Kildare.

  • Luttrellstown Castle, Dublin.

  • The National Botanic Gardens, Dublin.

  • War Memorial Garden, Dublin

  • The Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin.

  • Muckross House, Kerry.
