With a new lease of life upon retirement, my client wanted a garden packed with a wide variety of plants to provide colour for the summer with a cottage garden feel.

Being realistic about time management we put together a collection of plants including trees and shrubs for the permanent structure of the garden which would provide year round interest combined with summer flowering perennials which will just sing when the sun comes out!
